Best time to do your Christmas shopping ITK. Before the insanity begins. Was Christmas once a religous festival? I seem to recall something about the birth of a boy? Must have been 'life Of Brian'. Time for me to suddenly develop that bad back and inform my wretched relations that I'm in the specialist unit of a hospital in Copenhagen and wont be up and about until mid March.

I'm off to Belgium on business tomorrow, but their markets are such a good place to shop for Christmas.
Just will their be any space in the boot after the alcoholic libation fillers have been added?

You should feel sorry for us poor peeps who have birthdays in November/December. We get people in foul moods Christmas shopping, realising we merit not one but two pressies, and they resent it, and so we end up with two miserable trinkets. Frankly, it's a disgrace. What people should do is buy me a present in, say, May, when they're in good spirits, then put it away until late November. After that it's an even playing field for Christmas. Come ON people!

Oh yes, I quite agree. And Kenny, of all people, should have been deluged with prezzies, and several Colin Blunstone LPs.

A fellow sagittarian here too (15th December). I was lucky as a child and got equally good presents for my birthday and Christmas.
I love December- it has my birthday, Christmas and dark mornings and evenings
