Cauliflower Cheese 12 Years, 6 Months ago  
one of my favourites for lunch today .. with roasted chicken and roast new potatoes. The cauliflower cheese done with a crisp outer layer but with the actual cauliflower cooked to perfection.

Then, for dessert, treacle tart and custard.

Wonderful.

For a change, I went to McDonalds today and had chicken. Also cooked to perfection.

But I didn't bother telling anyone about it.

I was told mine were 'coddled',simple foods can indeed be the most satisfying.

My lunch today (for those interested) shall consist of a 'cod and chips' in London's Covent Garden, washed down by a glass of Olde English Cider. Then, perhaps, a stoll along The Strand.

Poundland do a very effective microwave egg poacher, but again it's trial and error, don't try a full 2 minutes on full power because they will explode.
