Interesting to watch the media influence the direction of the Inquiry - let's face it, whether or not a dead girl's mobile was hacked is far less important, yet far more headline making, than the more subtle, root problems of the media agenda.

But see the questions (like the Commons select committee ones to Murdoch) take the "get on the front page" direction and not the "get to the bottom of the sickness" one.

We in the media run the world (always have done). It's up to us to sort it - which we won't do as long as the Holy Grail remains "it's a great story".

and the attacks upon Leveson will emerge any moment.

We are witnessing a wild beast going beserk. Listening to those from the media, the journalists and so on rabbiting on about "freedom of the press" convinces me and more that the most gullible in this whole affair are the hacks themselves.

The ghastly ex-boss of News Corp in Oz who resigned (booted by Rupert) last week is attacking the enquiry there on the claim that Oz News Corp is separate from the UK news Corp and how dare anyone suggest otherwise.

It's like saying the NY Gambino mob are shocking and the Chicago mob shouldn't be tainted by association.

The exposure of corruption has only just begun...consider this. The Aussie woman who advised Elle McPherson whose career was destroyed by the hacking scandal has never had an apology from Elle.

and why ?...well it is only a co-incidence that Elle has now on a huge contract with a News Corp company and won;t be suing News over the hacking of her phone.

And if I read one more heart wrenching piece from another hack bemoaning the plight of that plonker Pyatt...whose career id now in tatters no matter what the outcome..a man who took joy in ensuring others should be prevented from earning a living, whose reputations should be shattered without recourse whilst he wrote personal opinion as news, I think I'll be sick.

Why didn't these bozos think this couldn't last ?. I knew it couldn't 10 years ago. I can point to dozens of web posts here I warned people to steer clear of News Corp yet these cacooned News Corp plonkers took out mortgages on the strength of producing tabloid trash believing it would last forever. Pity them not !
