For those who don't hang on for the end, the AD is about a boy who can't wait for Christmas - not because he is greedy, but because he wants to give his parent a special gift. I think the message is a positive one, lost, apparently, on the current population.

I indeed hope you didn't take anything I said personally, more of a joke about the Smiths,as I'm sure Angel was referring to the advert, not you personally.
I for one appreciate your input here, good to have a younger person's thoughts.

In that case PH let me point you at the track The Boy With The Thorn In His Side... if you don't think that's one of the greatest tracks ever I'll be very surprised and you may then discover the joys of Morrissey and Marr.

I had heard of Morrissey. I think he is the best antidote to a happy life. I just checks "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side" via Youtube. Was he always that miserable? 2 minutes was my limit before I wanted to end if all ... were you serious?

Well we have gone from TV to The Smith to Roy Wood, so I think it's ok to share a track from an album I heard today. It's "The Ghost of Elizabeth Shaw" by the sacred miracle cave.
This non-video is the only copy I could find on the net.
