The ultimate in British Stodge. The school Chef makes the best - just the right about of cinnamon, and a yummy melt-in-the-mouth sponge - so the borders were so lucky. I am jealous. .... we not really. It least I get to sleep in my own bed.

But ... Chef's Spotted Dick ... the stuff dreams are made of. And it had to be Saturday when the decided to served it up.

One of my Russian friends wrote and asked me .. "Spotted dick for pudding!! What is that? It sound not good" I must educate him.
