10 Rillington Place 12 Years, 10 Months ago
Just watched this terrific film again...superb performances from the great Richard Attenborough as Christie, (what amazing bros those Attenborough boys are)and the greatest actor of all time John Hurt as the tortured soul who was Timothy Evans.

This case was quite heartbreaking, Evans hanged on nothing but circumstances and false testimony from the manipulative Christie.

Makes me wince to hear retards demanding the death penalty be reinstated...I would advise them all to revisit this one case alone.

Apparently Rillington Place is now unrecognisable from the delapidated slum it was at the time..the entire street was demolished in the early seventies...but interestingly the outside location shots in the film was the real Rillington Place as it still stood when the film was made.

I love the movie and even Judy Geeson was great one the finest actresses the country has produced.

I heard 10 Rillington Place has just little bit of green on there now. Micheal Parkinson did a fine job documenting the house and murders and who was buried where in the house unfortunately can't find it on youtube.

Evans body has been reburied and had a proper ceremony after Christie was hanged but still a waste of life.

Dennis Nilsson house in London is vacant and has nice exterior and the infamous window which was always left open. I mate Tony is a personal pen pal to Dennis and has some great paintings by him and letters of confessions.

Richard Attenborough when playing murderers is most chilling. Love John Hurt.
