As Leveson looks at the tabloids and we comment on my very happy days as a Sun Bizarre columnist, let's remember that - for example - The Mail is a terrific paper though ghastly in many ways; the Express is a terrible paper; the Mirror is a shadow of its former self as is the Sun.
I've always said the Mail is the best and the nastiest paper in Britain. My paper of preference is the Guardian - often with great writing, often with dreadful aspects.
