I'm sure Chris Evert grunted now and then. Perhaps I'm wrong. Not sure just when grunting first started to happen within tennis. But with Sharapova it's 'squeals' and 'moans' as opposed to 'grunts'. As if she's constipated. Horrible.

I doubt she did while married to John. Mr Boring! I do agree though - but it's not just the grunting and squealing, it's also the endless bassline rallies most of them play. Compared to the boys they're so limited these days.

Quite. Federer is a great player but his ridiculous monogrammed blazers suggest he's not quite right. I fear he'll soon be turning up on court with chocolates.
