Blair "OK, I'll just jump on a plane and go off on holiday before you ban hand luggage. I do take these security scares very seriously".

Does anyone actually believe this nonsense ? 17 Years, 8 Months ago
Remember the last time Blair was in trouble - tanks at Heathrow !

Yesterday John Reid said we ha to give up freedoms, and "suddenly" we have a major alert !

Yesterday a Government Minister quit over Blair's support for the US / Israel (with a clear hint of many others to follow).

Also one sixth of all MPs have now signed a motion demanding the recall of Parliament (so Blair can be challenged).

In the midst of this (to quote John Reid) "worst threat to UK since the end of WW2", Blair goes on holiday !!!!

Wake Up people - you are being conned (as well as lied to !)

Every time they make this claim I think of the boy who cried wolf. 17 Years, 8 Months ago
So many warnings of imminent terror attacks, and of foiled terror threats (Old Trafford, Forest Gate, etc.). So many turn out to be bogus, and they usually coincide with government attempts to introduce new legislation (eg. Reid's recent claim that we will need to surrender certain liberties) or with Blair's need for support (recall the tanks at Heathrow when he needed support for Iraq?)

Call me a cynic, but I find it very hard to believe them now.

The Nazis had the Jews.
Now we've got Muslims and paedophiles.
When will they start breaking glass?

Question - 17 Years, 8 Months ago
While the suspects were under surveilance and there was an ongoing plot to blow up airlines, there was no alert at airports, but now that the plot has been "foiled" many flights have been cancelled and there is a major alert.

Isn't this a bit upside down?

Ahah ! 10 points there for you ! (but it has got the story of the massacres in Lebanon off the front page and diverted attention away from the rebellion against Blair !)
