Just been reading about the "witchcraft" case.

Anyone who thinks that people who believe in witchcraft are equal to us, is totally bonkers !

We have to accept that different cultures have evolved (and are still evolving) at different speeds, and that simply by moving someone from the third world to the West does not make them civilised.

In some parts of the world witchcraft is still endemic.

I'm not sure there is much difference between believing in witchcraft and believing in any other religion. It's all about faith in the unprovable after all.

I'm not sure witchcraft specifically allows attacking people with hammers. It was their belief and interpretation of it which led them to it. Sounds familiar.

I think civilized religions make it quite clear that killing people (with or without hammers) is totally unacceptable.

The reasons these lunatics did what they did had altogether more to do with their religion than their race or nationality. This is by no means "normal" immigrant behaviour. If you are going to suggest that their status as "immigrants" automatically qualifies them as potential murderous bastards you must also apply the same logic to the fact that they are "Christians". Which I'm sure isn't your intention.
