How alike they all are !
It could be six photos of the same person

Same cap, same uniform, same angle of shot, same flag in rear, same expression.

No doubt they are also taught how to think, and how to act too ?

How de-humanising ... and how sad.

We didn't lose six people .... we lost 6 "units".

I'm still trying to work out how they died' for us all'! As has been told by a string of MP's on the TV and radio since the news broke. Oh and of course their 'thoughts' are with the families!! Enter code here Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.

My fave is "we will never forget them" - but I doubt anyone will even remember their names in 2/3 days time.

Well said ITK no one asked them to sign up to the Army, if I went to battle I would accept being maimed or blown up it's what wars do not rocket science. The army or the dole?
Easy to forget that sometimes the choices are limited.
RIP,it's not an easy job being in a warzone for a long time,I tried it with the Ukrainian troops in Iraq back in 2004.Easy to talk about it here,but it takes real guts to live in constant fear for sometimes years at a time.
