how does this law work? 12 Years, 1 Month ago
the US (and allies) invaded Afghanistan after demanding they obey law and hand over Bin Laden (without proof) and now there is an Afghani government whisks away an alleged mass murderer who killed his victims in Afghanistan to the USA.???

yes..if you cast your mind back the USA demanded the Taliban (Afghan government) handover Bin Laden.

The Taliban said "yes..but show us the proof he was involved in 9/11 ". The USA ignored this normal request..didn;t bother with extraditon papers etc etc...and invaded and has been killing thousands of Afghanis since.

# a few years ago a US soldier stationed in Japan was tried and convicted of murder and jailed in Japan.

# Last year a US soldier staioned in Australia was tried and convicted of rape and jailed in Australia.

If a US soldier killed someone in the UK would he be allowed to be whisked out of the country...or visa versa a Brit soldier in the USA ?

What a load of old cobblers. Bin Laden happily acknowledged his culpability. Sometimes on here the determination to sound like a student union activist is just laughable. Of all people to seek to defend - Bin Laden!

Slightly (intentionally) missing the point - he's not defending Bin Laden at all.

While I do not defend Bin Laden, I have never seen any aknowledgment from him that he 'mastermined' 9/11...but prove me wrong and point to his admission (excepting of course the dodgy videos released by the US government that look like they were filmed ten years before the event)

I merely point to the fact that the USA ignored normal legal channels when the Taliban said they would handover Bin Laden if the US government provided proof of his crimes as the USA would do if a request came from Taliban government, British government, Solomon's govt for an alleged offendor etc etc ad finitum.

and why did the US spirit an alleged murderer from Afghanistan when it now has a lawful government and laws which the USA says it helped install by killing thousands of Afghanis ?

the USA's respect for law and order is the load of old cobblers.

union activist yes..student, no.

Dear oh dear. So they looked 'like they were filmed ten years before'?? What - poor production values? The old beard looking a bit too dark? A superseded dialysis machine chugging away in the background? The wrong Take That calendar hanging from the wall? Your bias is showing, Glenda, love. So now you're claiming poor Bin Laden made some videos claiming credit for something that hadn't happened yet and the nasty old west dug them up from the archives and used them for their nefarious gain. Lame, lame stuff.

I haven't claimed anything, just asked some questions but if trolling turns you on, go for your life.
