Since last Wednesday, Scotland has seen record breaking temperatures in the mid to high 20's. This week is meant to get even better. The garden is looking lovely and the birds are singing. Life is good!

Isn't it amazing how sunshine lifts the spirits? People walk around with smiles on their faces.

oh bugger orf the pair of you.

I am indeed in a bad mood because summer in Sydney has been a disaster.

at least winter here which I love, should raise my spirits as you get extreme cold with glorious bright blue skies and sunshine so I would even be nice to ITK then.

I think that is why so many Brit migrants like Perth which I think is horendously nouveau riche but does have beautiful weather.

I'm becoming more tuned into nature the older I become. Birds, bees and butterflies more obvious by the day and I'm developing a veggie patch for my youngest (3 year old) to marvel at the wonders of growing your own. We did tatties last year and her face was a picture digging up the "treasure" and eventually cooking them. Quite a journey for a young mind! Carrots, peas, broad beans and courgettes this year. Its a wee experience for us both that will have its rewards come rain or shine!

Join the club Angel; when Tommy came out to Italy a couple of years ago I spent the entire time raving about the Italian trees. Luckily, he agreed.

Another lovely sunny day again today. I hope this isn’t summer coming early and it will be rain and wind from April until October! The farmers around us are all busy lambing at the moment. (The lambs are born later un north than in the midlands and south). We’ve now got the first two lambs in the field outside our house. There will be scores by the weekend.

The weather is awesome, but the country is getting seriously short of water, with no sign of rain in the forecasts.

There is water up PH they need to have a national grid of water to make sure our reservoir's are filled but can't see it happening. Water Companies love wasting water and leave fixing leaks to the last minute, River Medway is going to be pumped more and more but you can't do it forever.

Lots of lambs in Derbyshire.

They look lovely ....(then the Mad Farmers slaughter them).
