Paralympian suffers online abuse over train trouble 12 Years, 1 Month ago

Baroness Grey-Thompson says she has attracted a stream of anti-disability abuse after she spoke of having to crawl off a train in London.The former Paralympian said she was often left without assistance at stations despite advance requests.

A newspaper website (Daily Mail) reporting the story prompted a large number of offensive comments about the peer's disability."There's a lot of disabled people who wouldn't be able to deal with it the way I'm able to," she said.

"The most offensive ones were more generic, like maybe there should be a cattle truck at the back of the train for wheelchair users so they can all sit together."

Someone said to me the other day that if you want to find the dregs of the human race, then look at the comments sections of certain online newspapers. They're not wrong.

The only things annoys me Paralympians is that can train else where instead of main roads and cause delays and traffic jams ? Enter code here Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.

Sorry Angel I have a huge case of dyslexia. The thing I hate about Paralympians is that they need to train else where, why do they train on busy roads to cause delays and tail backs there is enough road rage in our society ? Seeing them in their wheelchaies dashing down the A roads with out a cre in the world.
