Yes same here, I have to eat it straight away, they are never the same if you let them go cold then reheat in the microwave.

I must admit, ignoring the red meat/processed crap warnings, it's only 4 minutes from Greggs to my little house; straight onto the plate, still warm; dollop of Heinz ketchup, cup of Earl Grey tea... loverly!

I think that its outrageous to put 20% vat on a food which is aimed mainly at people on lower incomes. Places like Greggs are very cheap and only have a small margin on their food, they can't afford to ramp them up by 20%.

There is a clear distinction between take-away meals and hot baked goods. Take-Aways represent a meal that people have occasionally, whereas baked goods often are a daily snack for many people, and is their only opportunity to get hot food during the day.
This could lead to another high-street outlet going out of business along with Woolworths,Game,Habitat,C&A,Hawkins, and many others. Why not put 20% on caviar, faux grois, or 4 X 4 cars and hit the people that can afford it.

Well said Robbie this make you laugh Government are asking people to fill up petrol cans if forecourts are empty which is fair enough, but then asking people to store them indoors e.g like kitchen or living room if you don't have shed/garage. Tories have always looked after the well privileged never people on low income or out of work Labour would never allow this.

I like Greggs sausage rolls, but the best sausage rolls I ever tried were on a trip to Yorkshire - from a place called Cooplands. Unfortunately, I can't get them in London.

Thing with Game is Robbiex is that you can save £10-20 on Amazon high-street jobs cannot compete like that, and in Bluewater there are 3 shops that sell video games.

QUITE RIGHT.

The number of lardies on the streets is quite disgusting
If they had mirrors they would never go out in daylight!

What a boring life you must lead Angel, I don't suppose you smoke or drink either?

I love my food, (Greggs sausage rolls included), I smoke (Cigars) and love a few drinks of a weekend too.

As for being a burden on the NHS I could'nt give a toss, I've worked and paid taxes all my life so if the need should arise that I ever needed treatment on the NHS then so be it, I deserve it.

And yes, I am a fat bastard but I'm loving every minute of it.

I'm only 11.5 stone, I've run the London Marathon, but I still like the occasional sausage roll or pasty. Also I've never been in hospital in my 40+ years. The real burden on the health service is people who live well into their 90's spending 20+ years in a nursing home, rather than those who keel over in their 60's from a heart attack. That said, I don't begrudge them their time in the nursing home, it is part of a civilised society to look after all citizens.

Carl, please keep things in perspective. You're wrong but i do drink and used to smoke. And even if i didnt it wouldnt mean I had a boring life. Sorry but sausage rolls dont excite me. If you decide to eat to excess, bash on. An early grave awaits. How interesting is that?!

Well I don't smoke and hardly drink; I tend to like good food and I'm not at all into fast food (despite a strange three day taste once for Chicken McNuggets). I loathe Coke and Pepsi. I like salads and fruits and fine cuisine.

But I do enjoy Greggs sausage rolls.

A guilty pleasure.

I do not find this board a guilty pleasure.

I participate because I see an injustice has been done and I see it as a way of offering support.

I may have strong views but they are my views and I will always defend them.

I do not think this board is moderated correctly.
