Not looking good for attendances tomorrow in this "Christian" country, apparently.

But to you Atheists you just like seem to moan about him.
Where have I "moaned" about him? I'm moaning about people like you who claim to be Christians but behave in a way your saviour would be ashamed of.

I'm just pointing out that we are in the middle of a religious holiday .... but some people want the holiday without the religion !!!

I feel the Archbishop is right ... its time to assert our own standards in our own Country.
For far too long we have "hidden" our traditions / beliefs / customs for fear of upsetting others.
Sod them. I respect their customs etc - so they should tolerate mine (esp in MY country !)
I also have to apologise ... having derided the lack of religious programming (at a religious time) I discover their was a "live" Passion from Preston. Haven't see it yet, so can't comment.

Call to scrap Bank Holidays
"If public holidays were scrapped it would add £19bn to Britain's annual economic output, a think tank says.
The Centre for Economics and Business Research says each bank holiday costs the UK economy £2.3bn".

Here, Here !
WHY should someone who doesn't believe in Christianity have a Christian holiday (Easter / Christmas) ??
