Not bad; not great either.
Blood Red Road is a far better story with much more potential.
But I must again recommend The Lounge.
Brilliant place to see films; great fish'n'chips.
I agree it was an ok film, mainly aimed at young adults, so not my target group. My friend and her daughters loved it because it had an undercurrent of feminism about it (i.e. the faked romance and the female lead). Must check out the lounge.
Well spotted Andrew - yes plus a touch of Rollerblade and a bit of Twilight - whereas Blood Red Road is highly original and develops real characters miles better.
I liked the little black girl and felt both the Donald Sutherland and Toby Jones (great makeup) characters had unused potential.
