Personally, I'm looking forward to the Gardeners' World tribute ... they will explain how to grow plant underwater (esp sea water) and show us what to do if your greenhouse collides with an iceberg.

ITK, look out for "Titanic on Ice" when it comes out.......that should go down quite well.......

They could not make it any more boring now, re-releasing the film all 5 terrestrial channels doing their own programs and several on Sky. We know what happened it had one voyage hit a iceberg, sunk, hundreds died due to the arrogance of the crew due to ignore the warnings from other ships. Why do they only show the front of ship and not the other half ?

The film was very unrealistic no way would a third class passenger have all that free roam around the Titanic, silly fake accents, no natural chemistry between the two stars. I learned one thing hitting the propeller is a better way to die than suffering from hypothermia.

I think the museums are in bad taste as they robbed the dead to get all the artifacts such as jewels and watches.

Can we just leave the dead alone ?

If they did a film about the SS Cap Arcona I wonder how many Americans will star in and they will do fake German accents.

I've got a new prog idea that I'm gonna pitch to ITV !

Its called "The Voice of the Million Pound Drop Live from the Titantic" ! (OK - not that snappy but I'll work on it).

Basically judges (sitting in chairs with their backs to the talent) press buttons to reject those they dont like, and when this happens the talent drop through a trapdoor straight into the sea.

There will be numerous (mostly full) lifeboats around the ship (already built for the ITV soaperama so little staging costs), and if the contestant can reach one then they get a second chance next week.

If not they are eliminated (literally!)

For those of you Titanoraks out there who may be a little Titaniced by all the attention to the ship sinking 100 years ago! - I hope you didn't miss Titanic : the Band Played On (Yesterday 9pm), or Titanic Mysteries (8pm yesterday Discovery channel) let alone Titanic : Case Closed (also yesterday 8pm National Geographic) - I might suggest you watch this ....

If you still cant get enough of the Titanic though, don't worry !

Its the final part of Titanic (the soap that sank faster than the ship!) - ITV on Sunday - immediately followed by Words of the Titanic (the ship speaks???) and just to get you in the mood there is Pt 3 of Titanic with Len Goodman at 6.05 on BBC 1.

It stars Bryan Ferry, Joss Stone any anyone else they can find who has not had a hit in decades and will turn up to the opening of an envelope in a desperate attempt to let people know they are not dead (yet).

Presumably Bryan Ferry got the gig on account of his name.......

Saving The Titanic on C4 at 4.55 on Sunday !!!!

I do find this cruise very odd - they are currently eating exactly the same meal they ate 100 years ago at exactly the same spot; there is nothing in the world that would make me want to be on that ship at this moment; very strange; terrible vibrations surely?
