Pure self indulgence - remember three years ago I bought myself a combination birthday/Xmas present of a massage chair? It came from the wonderful Back Shop and cost £2500. It's been a HUGE success (friends no longer come over to see me - they just want a session in the massage chair).

Anyway, my other lovely old chair (bought on sale in Harrods about 35 years ago) has definitely lost its stuffing, needing loads of cushions to make it comfy. So I bought another Danish hand made chair (incredibly wonderful to sit in) and it was delivered today.

Just an ordinary reclining leather chair but ergonomically (is that the right word?) perfect.

Cost? £3100!

But as I sit in it for at least 10 hours a day, probably for the rest of my life, it's worth it.
