Huntsman verdict sounds a bit unsafe 11 Years, 11 Months ago
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2147817...unt-revered-him.html

The only real witness available seemed to cast doubt.

'A witness walking past the vehicle told of seeing a ‘white bottom’ moving in the passenger seat but said he had not heard any sounds of protest.'

The jury wasn't united.

' But a jury took just over 11 hours to convict him.'
'found him guilty by a majority of 10-2.'

She was drunk, and consented to go home in his car.

Most of those locals involved who knew those involved supported him.

'Despite Norrish’s philandering reputation, while he was awaiting trial senior hunt members were so convinced of his innocence that last month they held a ‘testimonial meet’ in the stunning deer park at Castle Hill near Tiverton to mark his retirement at the end of the hunting season.

'Hundreds turned out to the event, giving voluntary cash ‘subscriptions’ which were presented to Norrish at a dinner for 200 held in his honour at the Tiverton Hotel - an event which no doubt heaped further distress upon his victim and her family.'

Did she do it in a fit of temper? Then lied to cover up her infidelity after her husband found out?
Will she now be eligible for a nice fat compensation cheque?

'For her part, the woman explained that she accepted a lift from him after her husband went off with a friend to fetch their car but did not return.'

Those of us who have been through these terrifying ordeals know it comes down to who has the best acting skills, convictions should only be based on real evidence, and this trial has all the hallmarks of a possible miscarriage of justice.

With empathy for all TRUE victims of criminal injustice or of common-crime.

Quote the late great ripe Brit-comic multi-coloured-suits Max Miller way beyond his time and BBC-banned TWICE - no higher praise for any man, woman, child, or dancing dog.

" I like the girls who do, I like the girls who don't. I even like the girls who say they will, but then they say - they won't ! "
