I came across a little gem of a book; a beautifully packaged collection of Greene short stories including his novella The Third Man with (fabulous) a Forward by Graham telling how and why it is so different from his own screenplay for the marvellous Orson Welles film, with great tales of how Greene and Carol Reed (the Director) adapted it.

A wonderful read, full of Greene gems - morsels of sentences that made me stop and savour them, like hidden surprises in a banquet.
