Blair making great sense on Leveson 11 Years, 11 Months ago
Almost everything he says is right; reminds us not only of how persuasive he was, but how good, in many ways (disastrous in others).

Wow - does Blair hate the Mail?

He really comes to life when talking about that paper.

Lest we forget what the shallow mainstream media wants forgotten, with it's 'lies of omission. What they don't want known they just leave out'.

July '95, After 16-unbroken Tory years backed by Murdoch, Blair having rebranded Labour as 'New Labour'='Old Tory', he gets 'An Offer He Can't Refuse'.

www.haymanisland.com.au/hayman-island-ar...power-of-his-empire/

" The hypocrisy, however, is almost magical. In 1995, Murdoch flew Tony and Cherie Blair first-class to Hayman Island, Australia, where the aspiring war criminal spoke about "the need for a new moral purpose in politics", which included the lifting of government regulations on the media. Murdoch shook his hand warmly. The next day the Sun commented: "Mr Blair has vision, he has purpose and he speaks our language on morality and family life."

johnpilger.com/articles/murdoch-a-cultural-chernobyl

Nov 2000: Following 3 1/2 relatively calm years in power, for his State Opening Of Parliament speech, (co-written with his ex-Daily Mirror ‘Director Of Communications & Strategy’/spin doctor Alastair Campbell) New Labour P.M. Tony Blair feels confident to make a rare public reference to Britain’s Murdoch-dominated press-media, and an even rarer negative reference at that, “…A FUNDAMENTALLY DISHONEST PRESS-MEDIA." Against huge homophobic resistance from Murdoch’s mob rule media and the archaic largely Tory House Of Lords, Blair also invokes the Parliamnet act for millions of UK gay under-18s and over-21s. He also reforms the archaic House Of Lords by dismissing hundreds of never-elected hereditary Peers. Sat 4 Mar '06: On UK ITV “Parkinson” pre-taped chat show, Tony Blair nearing an unprecedented 9th consecutive year for any Labour Prime Minister, (due largely to the alien Murdoch since July 1994 with Blair his grinning puppet and ‘New Labour’ de-facto ‘Old Tory’) is asked by veteran interviewer Michael Parkinson with northern old Labour background , “How are you getting on with the media ?” Perhaps preplanned, but Blair like a bursting dam, gushes, “They’re deranged !” Yet almost lost in the aired version, as the show’s nervous producers fast-faded to their godhead adverts, after which no further mention was in the continued interview or final cut.

Ah yes, FullFacts - let's concentrate on painting Murdoch as the criminal mastermind; if we can get rid of him, all will be sorted.

My less sensational and media friendly approach is - there's a great deal wrong with Murdoch, Blair and many others.

But by concentrating our bile against the few, we let the vast majority of little people, adept at covering their tracks and keeping a low profile, get away with it.

And that lack of accountability is the real problem. It will never be solved if we allow all our energy to concentrate on the minority of high profile (and easily condemned) names.

Keep going on about how ghastly, vile, wicked and evil those easy targets are and the slippery but less obvious - but really nasty - people who allow innocent young girls to be murdered whilst pretending to achieve other targets - will escape attention. They win. You've been fooled. You've swallowed the tabloid approach; by waxing hysterical about the few you allow the real criminals to escape and the atmosphere that lets them develop and survive continues.

Keep on howling about the obvious; that's what they want and you're obeying their cunning plan.

I look at Blair but all I can see is his Spitting Image puppet, dressed as a schoolboy and shouting 'leader leader leader'.

And whilst I'm still in agreement with virtually everything he said, I thoroughly approve of the protester - whether right or wrong, his voice echoed many and I have to say, having voted for Blair, met him, liked him and respected him - my own experiences illustrated how badly the system has broken down, how inept politicians are in dealing with such matters. I didn't vote for him again and went right off him over the invasion of Iraq.

Yes JK not just ONE unelected BIG cancer, but (as rightly noted by the thrice duly elected ex-barrister/actor Mr Blair ex-PM) also other unelected cancers, Daily Malice, Brit Bull Corp etc. It's a cancerous systemic culture of unelected power. And any unelected heirachy is inherently corrupt with all the many bent licker-and-kicker middle and lower orders merely sustaining the putrid whole unclassy class-system, no better than school-bully politics of the playground.

All self-serving, and none of whom give-a-damn about TRUE Child Protection and numerous victims when for decades and ongoing they still Mind-Rape a too trusting public about where children are a vast 92% MOST at risk, which is NON-Stranger/NON-Sex from those they know well. Which of course doesn't fit the heirarchy narrow agenda for constant distraction by scapegoating, finger-pointing, name-calling, and sensationalist Mob-Rule ratings-and-profit - not for true protection.

So, pray tell, when dealing with a BIG unelected cancer at the top what political surgeon worthy of the knife, would faff at the middle and edges when the gross tumour needs bravely and dutifully excising ? For to continue much as before (which will probably occur)would be akin to having the violent disruptive prisoner BIG bully Frank 'Mad Axeman' Mitchell still running H.M.P. Dartmoor while carrying the Governor on his shoulders around the yard and sneering, "So who's running this f***ing' nick ?!"

How quickly the 24/7 mainstream media rolling-drivel censored the rude-but-honest man's well-made opinions, instead of debating them.

Though Blair did promptly deny the allegations (well he would say that wouldn't he), millions still don't believe him, or Bush, or the B ush B lair C orporation which won't debate them.

Recalls other rude-but-honest political intruders (no doubt slipped thru security by a bent, or honest, cop or three). Blair honestly flour-bombed in '04, Rupe honestly foam-pied in '011, honest Fawkes dishonestly fu**ed on '05.

Dartmoor while carrying the Governor on his shoulders around the yard and sneering, 'So who's running this f***ing' nick ?!' "

I'm afraid that despite some correct thoughts being buried in the posts the incomprehensible nature of them gives me a headache.

Blair came across as what he is..a successful vacuous snake oil salesman who can still impress many in this world.
Murdoch is what he is, a corrupting influence that infects everything he touches and such is his now exposed vileness, he still gets plaudits from JK despite the fact Murdoch minions would destroy JK in the blink of an eye whether deserved or not.
