The most telling comment is for me the guy who says he watches the auditions but does not watch the live shows
X Factor and its ilk have destroyed the music industry in the UK in my view. Cheapened it so that recorded music may not have any value in future. The Spiral Frog deal is the end result of these shows.

I think shows like this and media exposure have killed off the "mega-star pop artist". They're all just people off the street these days.
