an interesting reaction to the title. 18 Years, 8 Months ago
My first assumption was that it refers to sex at a certain time - 6am or 6pm. My friend, who curiously enough is a police officer, automatically assumed it meant at the age of six and thought it a bit dodgy.
The job must corrupt the brain.
I was right of course.
The song is pretty cool, although I'm not sure it's destined for greatness.
Reminds me of an old Lulu hit ...... 18 Years, 8 Months ago
not this track ... but the way the title can be misunderstood.
In the 60's Lulu released (or promoed) a track called "Everybody's Got To Clap", which was an uptempo number but sounded very much like she was singing "Everybody's Got Clap" !

Mr Sleaze wrote: NOT to use the word SEX in their song. Radio, TV, Press, the world, are still very very scared of it.
Don't know what to think of that. It's done Justin Timberlake and George Michael no harm. And who remembers the gasp when they realised that Prince really was singing "Sexy Motherfucker" in his single of years back?
Besides, remember the fuss when Frankie Goes to Hollywood didn't use the word "sex"? Remember the whole debate about what "Relax" was really about?
Who cares what radio might say. If it's a strong track, they will end up playing it anyway.
Re:Very good; I like it but Americans are so good at making OK music sound good (nm) 18 Years, 8 Months ago
I agree JK,
The Americans always seem to have better production than European acts.
I think 'Sex At Six' is a great track!
The band and their lead singer, John Paul Roney (who is the song writer) are available for both publishing and label deals world-wide.
Stay tuned
