Seriously brilliant "junk shop" hunt today 17 Years, 7 Months ago  
..For all our record collector readers.
The Who "Substitute" 1966 pressing 49p.
Frank Sinatra "in the Wee Small Hours" picture cover 30p.
Ictus Mix(who they?) white label single 49p, its quite good actually, and "Play In a Day" by Bert Wheedon

Whilst not having the same luck except for finding a 1976 Polydor artists promo album for 50p I did come across a trusting shop on Sunday.
Poor chap running it was on his own so while I and other people were browsing the racks outside the shop he shut up the shop for 15 mins to have a break!
Mind you, waiting for him to open up again mean't that I more time to go through the racks so I ended up buying more!
Great sales tactic!

My best Music bargain 17 Years, 7 Months ago  
Whilst looking through a local record store around 5 years ago, I came across a Gold disc on the wall from Marc Almond.
(The store had around 10 Gold & Platinum discs on the wall - Take That, Bryan Adams and many more).
When speaking to the store owner, she went on to say she didn't like the awards, and they were sent from the various record labels.
I asked her if she would be interested in selling, and to my amazement, she came back with '

I must say though, to all that read and don`t contribute, re;the above subject, which is something we seem to all love, if you find bargains in charity shops, please overpay for them. I`m not worried about secondhand shops, that`s their lookout for not researching their stock.
