Really sad news. He was wonderful in the '70's TV series 'Out', written by Trevor Preston. He also gave a fantastic performance as Jack 'The Hat'McVitie in Peter Medak's under-estimated 'The Krays'( a terrific screenplay written by Philip Ridley). Another fine supporting role as Derek Bentley in Peter Medak's 'Let Him Have It'.
