Even Bono becoming a latter-day prat can't take the shine off the albums they made between '83 & '91I would add "All That You Can't Leave Behind" as another good album, "Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of" being a particularly great song.

I see Bono recently reported in the media greasing up to the US Vice President Pence. Unbelievable. I cannot see how he can justify it even on pragmatic grounds given Pence seemingly was terrible for supporting HIV/AIDS causes when he was governor of Indiana.
Much as I love The Joshua Tree as an album I probably prefer the 1990s stuff. Decent live version of 'Ultraviolet' here from relatively recent years, fwiw:

I didn't much care for that album to be honest. I did like "Stuck in a Moment", "Kite" and "Walk On" (though the single version of the latter was a lot better than the album version). They did a good take on the latter with ex-Eurythmics Dave Stewart and Natalie Imbruglia on TOTP.
