I honestly think it's the worst 'record' I've ever heard thus far in my 43 years. It sounds like a bad parody, a nightmare imagining of a charity single. But no, the idiots are serious.

And this pompous "artists" business is equally ridiculous given most of them are karaoke singers.

I don't dislike it as much as you all seem to but I do think the balance on the opening line would have been sorted by a better producer (the words "fade in" for the singing strike me).

It would have been better if the producer had just sung the whole thing himself!
