I should think there's easily enough material for a movie about MUD if the project is placed in the right hands.

What was their first single? Was it flower power? Their first hit was Crazy, but I know they made a few recordings before that.

yes "Flower power" a great single from 1968. Davey Paton (of "Pilot" fame) was in a band called "Boots" also on CBS at the same time and they recorded at the same session. I think Paton was in the early Bay City Rollers as well wasn't he JK ?

Just thought of another.... 18 Years, 1 Month ago
...but cannot remember the title again!.It was a film about two feuding brothers playing south american latin music in New York.Whilst I`m thinking about this subject again, "The Jazz Singer", Bette Midler in "The Rose" and "Purple Rain". this list could be endless, and the ones that stand out notably do not date badly.
I watched Purple Rain last week, and it really did have an 80`s date stamp on it sadly.

Re:Just thought of another.... purple rain no no 18 Years, 1 Month ago
I bought the purple rain dvd it is incredibley dated with tha fashions, mullets, the old sterotypes. I do like Prince but the movies I'll pass on, and along with David Bowie films.

Mick Jagger audioned for the role Frank-n-Furta in Rocky Horror Picture Show, and didn't he do a sc-fi in the 60's or 70's

Ray/Walk the Line have both been fairly watchable, if a little uninspiring given the talent of the subject matters.
