I don't use Spotify or Youtube for music but the 'latest' songs I hear in supermarkets were the massive hits from the 1980's. About 15 years ago I thought the music was dated horribly but now I have changed my mind in the last within the last few years.

I still hate Back To The Future and the soundtrack - you can't win all the time.
