It's like when someone booked REM for you and this guy turns up - not in a good way either.

Yes but I do miss the days when we had dozens who bothered to comment. I suppose Twitter, Facebook, Instagram came along.

My first music comment - very boring. The comment, and the song

Maybe if you gave your opinions it would encourage others?

I think it's well written and enjoyable .. the reason I posted it on here.
It's a given that not everybody will like it. For an indie it's actually selling rather well.

Phil Cooper also has a good stage presence with a decent level of audience participation. I don't think he'll lose sleep over a few online critics. He's doing what he loves doing, and I say good look to him.

I thought it was quite nice - a decent album track but a competent writer and performer. Not a hit, though, which, as you know, is my driving impulse. Hit singles are what matter; preferably huge, mass appeal hits. At least to start a career. Not everything needs to be a hit; some of my favourite sounds were never hits. But a first needs to be massive to kickstart a career.

Fair play to him however it's not for me, JK, Honey or Wyot.

If you like him Paul then that's fine.

It was quite pleasant, but I was waiting for something to happen, and it didn't.

I am glad it is doing well for him.

Hitchcock used almost those words to describe suspense ... although that doesn't really fit in this situation.

It does fit with some hits songs though, but mostly in the 80s which was a dire decade chart music wise (in my opinion).
