I hope you like it, we have enjoyed doing it. We have to take this page down soon, as we are still trying to obtain clearance, and indeed, who to clear it through, but it`s good.
If this doesnt work as a link, cut and paste it.....

Sounds brilliant to me Martin; I love the speed rap bits and look forward to hearing the entire album.
Fingers crossed someone picks up on this from here (as increasingly happens these days - see ORSON and Brian Harvey, hopefully).

I like the Bangra bit, shame you broke into a standard Rock feel for the main part of the song though.

Great tune...

Our version of the song isn't too much of a tribute, but has actually been described as a "raping" of the great man.

All in good taste though...

once again, nice tune...

We actually have a whole bangra/ambient mix, but I have decided I wanted to include the rock elements.

Oh yes, it's very much a game of two halves (to quote someone much wittier than I).

That reminds me I have to get the ***** version of **** **** ** ******** finished in time.

Being pretty thick, l wasn't sure what the beginning was called, but l thank you JK.. Speed Rap, well aside from the track being Brilliant, and me not sounding to creepy and up your arse, pardon the expression, but l love it, so does my daughter, even my wife stuck her head around the door, and asked who was that, asking why, she smiled and said l like it!!!

Well Done Martin

What is great about this new technology, compared to when I was last, "in the frame", as it were, is, you get real opinions, as opposed to really not knowing what is going on about your material.
Thanks everyone, it`s embarrasing and difficult for me to ask for support, but I am indeed asking for it!

Just thought I would be cheeky and reply to my old thread here, release date for my daft project is scheduled for march 27th.

The best internet reading, of the week, has definetly been the James Blunt piece, and many congrats to him on making the US number one this week as well.
The British are still coming everyone!(again!)

Re: you point about clearance 18 Years, 1 Month ago
Martin - are you aware that (under the 50 year rule) many of the early Elvis recordings will be out of copyright imminently?

Yes I am MM, I am trying to time this to perfection,(as a result of this), this project, is an exercise in raising profiles of bands, and raising money for charity, I do expect to be taken on a bit, by any songs slightly left of copyright, but I am prepared for the aggro.
All fifteen songs, have been recorded at the expense of the acts, and have been donated to my company and my friends company free of charge. We organised a party on Monday, and the acts that had not brought their songs to us by post, or internet, presented the masters in person.
I am enjoying this project immencsely, it is more like a soap opera, than the poke in the eye, I started out to do.
The recordings are wonderful.
