Notice it's all 90s now - makes sense (like Pick of the Pops) if you assume my generation are all dying. But not if you ask today's kids what music they like. Yes of course specialist sounds rool OK - like rap, hip hop etc. But many actually prefer the 60s and 70s music because it was and is Mass Appeal
Go to any HMV or independent record shop JK. You will pupil's flicking through classic Rock. The other day I was browsing at Groundhogs albums a kid asked me about them. I told him, that I saw them a live a few times and Tony McPhee supporting Alvin Lee and Edgar Winter.
The record shop owner, played thr Groundhogs LP: Solid. The kid face was stunned when heard the raw, low-fi hard blues. The kid called me a 'lucky fucker' because I saw them live.
The shop owner did a deal, so the young lad was able to get the Groundhogs LP.
Even 13th Floor Elevators are in popular demand on vinyl.
