RIP Sinead O'Connor 9 Months, 1 Week ago
A very mixed up young lady, I thought.

she had a great voice but was mentally unbalanced for years even before her son's death. I respected her when she tore the picture of the Pope.

Death of a child is something a parent shouldn't have to go through.

Interesting that you use the phrase, "young lady", even though she was 56. She never did mature mentally very well and looked more or less the same throughout her career. From numerous abortions, becoming a priest, then a Muslim (why would a female become a Muslim?)

Nothing Compares 2 U was a great track, however, I preferred "Mandinka", her own track, not the overrated Prince's track. Not much else music-wise, but remained in the public eye, more for her controversial acts like tearing up a picture of the pope and breakdowns. Sadly I think that this could be suicide, whatever it is, it is very sad news.

I thought she was lovely. Terry Hall too.
This is my favourite...

I rarely agree with you Robbie, on this case I do. She was our Irish sweetheart for a brief period.

I love Peter Gabriel music, but when I saw this on a bootleg years ago. I did cringe, the song lyrics are not hard to remember either.

I had a painter and decorator round recently who did Peter Gabriel house. The plasterer had strip off very expensive wall paper and repaint a wall that was freshly painted. For no good reason

I had a feeling Peter Gabriel was also very eccentric, the decorator confirmed it. I was told by a fellow fan that Peter is on the autistic spectrum.

Abortions do mess up women, there is a special connection with the unborn and mother. If that is severed it does cause issues later in life for the woman. Eventually the periods stop. Meaning no more children.
