Sadly not very good; JOhn was a friend of mine and I was honest with him (my favourite song of his is No9 Dream) - if he'd played me this (which he probably would have done had we had that lunch in 1980 that was scheduled but sadly got cancelled as he was shot two days before it, just round the corner from my New York apartment), I'd have told him. But here it is for you (good job done by Paul especially his George-like guitar).
Actually I like it.. it's sort of old fashioned sounding..
I like the musical and chord movements.. it's in C Major / A natural minor and there's a part where it shifts over to B minor and waves it's way
back to A minor.

I agree, it is not great, but still far better than most of the music around these days. Also its not really a beatles track, its a John Lennon track which Paul and Ringo added too, and George didn't play on it at all, I beleive it was just Paul impersonating George's style.

I have no idea if it's true but I have heard people say they lifted bits of Because from Anthology onto Now and Then.
Then again I do find The Beatles very boring apart from Beatles For Sale and Please Please Me albums...there I have said it.
I do enjoy George Harrison solo work a great deal.
I really do like When Rivers Meet they are my favourite band current band. Aces are High is a terrific album; there is a lot good music out there but it's not always going to be on the radio.
