These downloads must be instantly appearing on a free download site.Which brings us back to , what is going on with the charts?

the new morrissey album is all over bit torrent. Anyone who wants it, gets it free

1500 free streams versus a mature artist on his eleventh solo album whose fan base do not buy, let alone download, singles.
Or is it just a case of your message board tourettes where you can't help but post, however irrelevent?

We had a discussion that started on this board about downloads a while back, and a kind chappy pointed out to me that even though we were streaming, it could be downloaded.
The subject of this , for myself, is that the business is re-finding it`s feet.
If you take yourself back a few years, Morriseys website, had the highest hit counter of all downloading sites, purely because they were one of the first free downloads.
My point is, and I stick by it, if bands get down to it, get an i-tunes and pay-pal account , we have a whole new Hitsville UK.

and you are charging i-tunes rates, are you? no of course not. thre is no comparison

But what we have done this week is make rather a lot for a well deserving charity,(with a release) as well as exposing new bands.
I am a big Morrisey fan, I think what I am trying to express is that charting is irrelevent of sales and peoples listening habits.
I can assure you that I do not have tourettes, but I can assure you that I have now been up a very long time.
