How many sales?

It seems remarkable that a sales No1 can only manage No37 on the official chart proper. One sale does equate to 100 streams after all.

Call me old fashioned but I still think that music charts should only count tracks and albums that have actually been paid for. Streaming has diminished and cheapened the music product.

Don't Youtube only pay a few pence to artists like Spotify?

I only see singles on sale if they are special releases.

It isn't no. 1.the above is the official charts, sir startmer isn't in the top 10 at all. The song is rubbish, just putting weak puns on top of a 50 year old song.

Who in their right mind would want to give the Starmer name the kudos of being No1 in the charts, not me, even with a negative anti Starmer song.

No37 was overly generous. I gave the track a first listen last night, you are right Robbie, totally unimaginative claptrap.

Interesting that back in 1980 the BBC and Radio 1 did play Stand Down Margaret by The Beat, so much for impartiality there with a new P, thus proving by their own track record they are quite able to play the Starmer track, shite or not, and they even played that quite tasteless Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead track on her passing in 2013 when it made No2, and the reason for that hit were quite vile.
