I'd love to hear him on Desert Island Discs. I did listen to the archived podcast versions a few years ago but haven't in a very long time.

So he hid his liking for prog rock. That seems amusing to me when you consider he happily showed his hand for what I think of as a bit of kiddy pop with his No1 summer 1982 single Happy Talk.

Glad It's All Over is an underated classic in my opinion, I love that song. I liked Wot at the time too. Rename it Wyot for the purposes of this forum. I wonder if Wyot knows Wot! Fun fact, it was in the charts at exactly the same time as What by Soft Cell.
