So how legal are these things? I mean, most of them you just click to say you agree. What kind of proof is there that you actually clicked it? That the box was there to click on in the first place? After all, the company

I worry about this too Kev 18 Years ago  
The confirmation e-mail does not allways come, from many internet sites.
I worry that we can get stuff out there,(on downloads) and the money is going somewhere, but not in our pockets.

a handy thing to note.. the agreements which appear in iframes can be edited to show whatever you like before you hit 'submit'

This End Users Licenses Agreements (EULA) that companies use to protect ... 18 Years ago  
their software, downloads, and DRM-infested Un-CDs are legally binding - at least for the customers.

But there are lots of DRM-infested Un-CDs that install spy ware and other stuff even if the user has clicked on the no and aborted the installation.
