Just wondering if anyone knows anything about Matchbox recordings?

They claim to distribute your music digitally across the globe and in select retail stores (tower recs etc). This all costs about

Hi, we had a song on one of their compilations a while back. I can't really say it had a great effect for us, we've probably had a few more hits on our website because of it, due to the direct link on their site and they do seem quite genuine in what they do and they have had some success with some of the bands they have promoted if you look at their website.

Also, I notice that our song that was featured on the CD is for sale a number of places on the interweb now, (tower records, walmart for example), so they do seem to be able to get songs into a few companies, although again I don't think ours has sold a great deal (if at all).

I think a lot of what they do do, in terms of sending away CD's to various organisations could be done yourself if you put in the time and effort.
