Pops...
Keane opened the show; I like the band... chubby, dimpled, baby faced lead singer... but the new single is melodically ordinary.
He should either wear bigger shirts or lose weight to get rid of his child bearing hips.
Matt Willis has taken the cunning image route of not shaving to show he's no longer a Busted boy band member.
Not a bad single but not great either.
He's OK but has that look of well trained stage school imitation of a rock star so well perfected by Rooster.
Old footage of the Boss; now that's a real rock star.
Tricky contrast.
Infernal are Whigfield after a Time Warp.
Diabolical lyrics.
Rihanna has a very Def Jam look about her.
Thoroughly professional. Totally soul-less.
Griggly Wiggly - the latest Italian hunk major label job.
Great voice, I have to say, though I'm a bit cynical about the entire project.
For a moment there, TOTP came over all Eurovision.
Feeder - a very Tip Sheet band - were as good as they always are.
One of the better UK rock bands.
Actually my favourite of the show so far.
The battered and demented charm of Daz is very infectious.
We wish him well for Eurovision.
And continuing with this rather Tipsheet segment, Orson.
Glad this wasn't the song I heard last year or they would still be working in proper jobs in LA.
My Bright Idea would not have been to choose this as a followup.
Perhaps they should have asked me.
And at number one... let's all go Crazy.
Thank you and goodnight.

I love your TOTP reviews JK - you say the things everybody thinks but nobody else dares put into words. 17 Years, 11 Months ago
The poor Keane boy will be shattered but it's true and someone should tell him.

Tell him what? That they feel he is too fat?

He's not a model, he's a singer.

Very shallow indeed.

Good point Godiver but I say one word... Health... 17 Years, 11 Months ago
and another... at that age allowing yourself to get plump can be a symptom of a deeper unhappiness.
End of lecture.
