I`m sadly not confident at all that he will win, although it is on my wish list for today.
It is a year since my first ever post on this board, which I posted during the Eurovision song contest, over on the Your Views board.
I recall it well, it said "errrrm I don`t think we are going to win this one".
This bloke called JK, replied within five minutes, and said...I think you`re right Martin......
Methinks, a lot of us had stopped being glued to the telly by about 10 pm, lets hope this doesnt happen today, but according to the papers, a safer bet is Rooneys foot....

In The Know (sometimes)

Doubt he will make the Top 20 .... 17 Years, 11 Months ago
... may do better than Jemini - but may not !

Also - a clash of programming tonight (with the Prince's Trust Birthday spectacular) may seen audiences constantly switching channels. Will be interesting to see the viewing ratings.

Brilliant Eurovision tonight; sadly for Daz, at least a dozen potential winners... 17 Years, 11 Months ago
Russia (still my favourite), Romania, Lithuania (hysterical; original; brave and 100-1!), Sweden (the old fashioned winner), Bosnia (the best local language), Ireland (great Brian Kennedy vocal but ordinary song), UK (the girls need to be good) and probably most fun of all, if they can get the vocal balance right (less lead, more chorus) Finland and their delightful Pop Metal entry.

I really think this is potentially the best Eurovision ever with half a dozen genuine global hits in there.

GREAT!

Skreen - Cuban Boys

Re:Brilliant Eurovision tonight; sadly for Daz, at least a dozen potential winners... 17 Years, 11 Months ago
Well, I know who I'll be supporting - don't forget to throw some love towards fellow Cuban Boy, Ricardo (John Matthews), who co-wrote 'Teenage Life'.

I had a beer or two with Blu last night and we were both saying how glad we are for Ricardo, he has always wanted to be in eurovision.

Oh believe me I'll be rooting for Ric, Joe and Daz too... 17 Years, 11 Months ago
but I do think there are better songs in the contest (for a change).
Give Blu my love by the way!
