Check out these guys, new band...Causing some hype I understand...
song on myspace.com/jaggedmusic called PRETTY BOY is pretty solid...

JAGGED are THE modern pop band.
Mixing Edgy-Synth, Classic Rock with a wink to the dancefloor, JAGGED is the commercial sound of 2006

Flamboyant front man, well written pop songs that seem they are made for the radio, songs which need to be danced along to..

With a string of headline show's in the English Capitol this year, ranging from The trendy 'Cafe De Paris', to the infamous 'Clapham Grand', JAGGED have gained a reputation for electrifying and well crafted live shows and in particular live shows packed with commercial and exciting pop music.

With the national Battle of the bands competition 'Rock On The Beach' already won (August 2005), JAGGED have now set out to release the debut E.P. to be released in August 2006.

cool band with a nice gig profile, which demonstrates that there is an audience out there for the music. However, where's the hit?

Quite like it but... 17 Years, 11 Months ago
..I can`t hear a hit there either.
But I do like hearing the early eighties synth sounds in modern rock.
The third track down is a possiblity, with a whole different approach I reckon, but then you move into a dangerous territory of re-inventing a unit that is already working.
An interesting point to note, is that out of four acts we have taken to record this month,(down here) not one of them has been on My-space. It does not mean they won`t be, I just feel that with high quality recording and distribution via the web(and at a low value cost) can often veer any ideas on production.
That all said the DIY approach is great for music, but what is it doing to sales?
