Jolly Fatboy Geordie John Myers - EMI plugger in the 1990s - has passed away.

He had a heart attack on Monday, apparently whilst playing golf with some friends. I can't imagine a more unlikely golfer than this genial Geordie anti-establishment nutter, but he evidently developed a passion for the game in recent years. In which case, what a great way to go!

The funeral is on September 1st with time and place tbc.
