Like the old traditional protest songs this has a good sing along vibe and topical lyrics. Anti-war but kinda well balanced. I just came across it and wanted to share it here.

Garth Hewitt - sadly under-rated by the UK music industry because he has been firmly at the front of the anti war and poverty campaigns since the late 1970s yet because he is not a "mate" of the Geldof / Blair dynasty who have bought out Make Poverty History etc. he has not been seen at events like Live 8 or Stop the War ( at least not the main events ? )

Good spot and maybe this song should be adopted by those of use who are still deeply disturbed by the Bush/Blair Middle East policy which seems to have opened up in this week alone a new Israeli/Lebanon conflict and a Civil War in Iraq.

The word "peace" comes out of Bush's mouth more often than any other word - yet he seems to believe in non stop war.........

But Garth is someone I haven't heard for years. Where has he been hiding? His brother is Gavin Hewitt of the BBC, and they look a bit similar. This song is catchy and has a good message, but I wonder if it will get any serious airplay. Love the voice!
