What was the story - I've always been intrigued?

they didn't sell any records and I love starting projects but get bored when they become serious; as soon as the band decided, with my advice, to devote themselves to it, I introduced them to Tony Stratton Smith and asked him to take them under his wing; which they did and went onto his Charisma label.
