The View; Mighty JK tracks them down 17 Years, 9 Months ago
First single through Sony/BMG in at 10 on the midweeks.
OK though nothing special. Sort of "what a nice little Scottish band wanting to sound pop/indie; bit Libertines, bit Monkees" would sound like with a bit of help from co-writers.

And your label is called 1965 after the year you hit with Moon?

Weren't they already tipped by Jim Gellatly from XFM Scotland via yourself before on here along with a couple of other scots bands 2/3 months back JK?

I remember them because of their myspace being different from their name!

I can't quite remember who the other bands who were tipped (though i remember all 3 being fairly good).

A bit like a poor version of The Buzzcocks. Probably going nowhere. (nm) 17 Years, 9 Months ago

Good to see them doing well imo, it's a drab top 10, just a shame Metric and Monster Hospital could not be top 10 as well.

Great live band too. I've booked them a couple of times and they really deliver on stage.

If I have one criticism it's that trying to find them is a nightmare. Sticking 'the view' into Google doesn't get you very far. Well, it gets you a long way, but nowhere near the band.

Something to be aware of in this digital age, I feel.
