I love record shopping, I'm never happier than when I'm browsing through racks and racks of cd's, vinyls etc.
The problem is that it's getting harder and harder to get my "fix". I normally have to go into London every 2 or 3 months as there are no big record shops in my area.
If I want something a bit out of the mainstream in the meantime I have to shop online. Amazon being the main place I go due to the wide range they hold.
But you don't get the immediacy you do when buying in a shop (I'm a skinflint so always choose free delivery which takes around a week to arrive!)nor do you get that amazing feeling when you discover a unexpected gem when browsing.
I also hate the fact that the more I buy online the less chance retail shops have of surviving. But if they don't have the stock, what can you do?
So is it a self-fulfilling prophecy?
