Ah, happy times... The guy who was Head of German in my school had been a roadie and bouncer for Floyd in the 1970s... he had some tales...

He also had few discipline problems in his class room, despite the fact the school I attended was a holding pen for Prison and the graveyard... he could hold an errant teen at arms length by his ankles while explaining the error of his ways disrupting O-level German.
