ive put off joining the PRS because i play a lot of smaller venues (prob not even registerred) and as far as I know you only get about

Hi Confused.
It is definetly worth joining, as the royalties, however small or large pop up in the end.
If you get the chance and join, get a pad of royalty forms from PRS and fill them in yourself as most venues do not seem to have them, and you will miss out on your extra payments.
I was told by a friend last week that the PRS investigators,that you occasionally see pop in at gigs are volunteers, although I can`t confirm this.

Thanks. Yes I didn't know they surveyed venues, I thought it was only radio and DJs.

I was surprised to see my band name there. It says on the site those names that appear on the surveyed list cannot collect royalties for the rest of the calendar year, so I was wondering if the sum would be over the
